Jonathan Clayton is currently attending Louisiana Tech University in pursuit of a Masters of Fine Art degree focusing on photography. His work has been exhibited in galleries from Costa Mesa, California to Allegheny, Maryland. His work has been published in Creative Quarterly. Jonathan's current body of work focuses on a small agrarian town in central Louisiana, Cheneyville that is slowly vanishing and perhaps will disappear within the next decade. Mechanization and shifting economies means that agrarian towns such as Cheneyville have a tumultuous existence and face a tenuous future.  Jonathan has spent the past six months photographing the town and asking the question what does the future hold for it and towns in similar situations.
